1.      Favourite pose and why? –

So many to choose from! If I have to pick one I’ll go with Tree Pose – it makes me feel strong, grounded and graceful. When it’s called out midway through a super sweaty class it really brings me back to my breath and allows me to re-focus, I’m currently loving tree with closed eyes – like a mini meditation.

2.      What does your perfect day look like?

The sun is out, a sweaty yoga class followed by relaxed lunch of delicious veggie food and a long walk somewhere lush and green, topped off with a glass of wine – but not sure I’m allowed to say that! ;)

3. When you were  a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?

An actress or a dancer

4.      Three things you’d bring on a desert island –

An ipod loaded with awesome music (but that will never run out of battery!), the Game of Thrones books  (if I could be undisturbed for long enough to finish them that would be perfect!) and my yoga mat (obviously making assumptions that said desert island has clean water, food and a power supply!)

5.       If you were a superhero, what superpower would you have?

You wouldn’t believe how much thought I’ve given this one over the years…! I have to pick 2 – one physical and one mental – Metamorphosis like Mystique from X-men; and straight up magical powers like Willow from Buffy! (yes I’m a bit of a geek…)

6   When was the last time you tried something new, and what was it?

Today! I went to a lunchtime meditation session in Barbican. Such a lovely way to break up the day and refocus.
